Matt attended the University of Colorado and holds both MBA and BA degrees from that institution.
Matt attended the infamous 1981 Cleveland Browns playoff game featuring the end of the Kardiac Kids run when Brian Sipe threw an interception to end the game in an overtime loss to Oakland. The game temperature was in the single digits.
